Stud earrings are the most popular type of earring characterized by their simple, minimal design. They sit right on top of the ear hole and usually consist of a single diamond or gemstone in a gold setting. More elaborate designs can have a halo surrounding the main stone.
What are Hoop Earrings? What are Huggies?
Hoop earrings are characterized by their circular shape. They usually hang below the ear lobe and would have diamonds or other gemstones set along the front. Huggies are a style of hoop earrings where the circle is much smaller so they start from the ear hole and go just beneath the ear lobe.
How much do stud and hoop earrings cost in Hong Kong?
Diamond stud earrings can vary greatly in price and depends mostly on the quality and size of the diamond (or gemstone) that you choose. At Niya K, we have stud earrings starting from as low as HK$3,000. A pair of round diamond studs with 0.50ct diamonds in each ear would be around HK$22,000.
Hoop earrings start from a slightly higher range but as they usually consist of smaller diamonds you can get a dressy pair of diamond hoops for as little as HK$20,000.

Can I see the diamonds before purchasing my earrings?
We encourage you to visit our studio in Tsim Sha Tsui, where you can view and compare different diamonds and styles in person. We can also check to see which length is suitable for you. Contact us to make your appointment!
How should I care for my earrings?
To maintain the brilliance of your earrings, clean it regularly with a soft toothbrush and mild soap solution. Avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals, and store it in a safe place when not in use. We advise you take it off when sleeping or doing any exercise
