At Niya K, we have always believed that jewellery should hold meaning beyond how it looks. Whether it is an engagement ring, a bespoke necklace, or a bracelet gifted to mark a special milestone, the pieces we create are designed to become part of someone’s story.
Over the years, we began asking ourselves another important question: could the success of a jewellery brand also help create meaningful change for others? That idea slowly became a very important part of who we are today.
As a Hong Kong jewellery brand specialising in bespoke, natural, and lab grown diamond jewellery, a portion of every purchase made with Niya K goes towards charitable initiatives supporting underprivileged rural communities in India. These contributions are made quietly, in the spirit of Seva (selfless service), with the intention of creating opportunities, dignity, and long-term support where it is needed most.
Some of the initiatives we have supported over the years include:
- Gifting bicycles to village girls to support their education and independence
- Donating cows and calves to farming families to help create sustainable livelihoods
- Organising Bhoj (mass feeding) for rural communities
- Hosting workshops and educational activities for village children
- Supporting creative learning and developmental programmes
- Encouraging opportunities for young girls through education and community support
What makes this especially personal for us is that our children have grown up alongside these experiences. Over the years, they have joined us during visits to the ashram where many of these activities are conducted, learning first-hand the importance of giving back and understanding that success becomes far more meaningful when it is shared with others.
In a world that is increasingly fast and transactional, we wanted Niya K to stand for something deeper. Not only beautiful jewellery, but thoughtful connection.
When clients visit our Central showroom in Hong Kong or work with us to create a bespoke jewellery piece, many are looking for something personal and lasting. We feel incredibly grateful that, through their support, every engagement ring, pendant, bracelet, or bespoke creation can also contribute in some small way towards helping others.
